Protection against moisture
A coating on the motor and the printed circuit board gives protection of the fans electronics against moisture and condensation.
IP54
The motor and circuit board are encapsulated to protect against splashed water humidity and dirt. High protection classes such as IP67are available.
Protection against salt spray fog
Salt fog is particularly demanding of the protection of the fans. Materials choices coatings and insulation are all used to ensure salt fog protection.
Stainless steel bearings
A range of bearing systems are available including stainless steel. Fully open bearings,metal seal and PTFE seal are all available to ensure the correct level of environmental protection as specified.
