Centrifugal fans
Centrifugal fans from ebm-papst are available with forward or backward curved blades.
The outstanding feature of the external rotor motors is their compact, flat design, which results from integrating the external rotor motor into the impeller. "Blowers" refers to devices with scroll housing, while centrifugal fans are shipped without scrolls. Both versions are available in AC and EC technology.
Centrifugal fans from ebm-papst are based on the external rotor motor concept.
Centrifugal fans with backward curved blades
Centrifugal fans with backward curved blades are used primarily for intake suction and do not require a scroll housing. They have high hydraulic efficiency.
Centrifugal fans with forward curved blades
Centrifugal fans with forward curved blades always require a spiral housing. Their characteristic features are a low noise level, relatively small air flow with a high increase in static pressure, and space-saving application.
